Paul Bao obtained a PhD in Computer Science from University of Calgary, Canada in 1988.  He served on the faculty of Computer Science Department, University of Calgary from 1988-1990 and then proceeded to working in IBM Canada as a senior staff analyst in 1990-1995. He was an associate professor in the Computing Department, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a visiting professor in the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a professor in Nanyang Technological University 1995-2005. He is currently an associate professor in Department of Information Technology, University of South Florida Engineering,  His research interests are in Computer Graphics and Image Processing, Image-based Remote Rendering and Walkthrough, Networked Multimedia systems and Image/Video Coding, etc. He has been awarded over US$1,000,000 in research grants from various funding organizations during his academic tenure and has served in program committees for numerous international conferences. Dr. Bao has published over 60 journal papers and given over 60 conference presentations in those areas. Dr. Bao is a senior member of IEEE.

Dr. Arun Kumar has received his Ph.D. in Chemistry with specialization in clinical biosensor from University of Delhi, India in 2003. He was associated with many laboratories of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) India since 1990 like Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) (1990-1993), Hyderabad, Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (Formerly CBT) ( 1993-1993 Oct) and National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, (1993-2003) which are prime research organizations of India. He was deputed to Poland as a visiting scientist in the Center for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies, Lodz, Poland in 2000 under Indo-Polish collaborative project. He joined as postdoctoral fellow in 2003 at New Mexico State University, in the Sensochip Research Group of Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. In 2004, he came to the University of South Florida, Tampa, to the  Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing Research Center as Research Scientist and promoted as Research Assistant Professor. In 2005, he received another opportunity from Department of Internal Medicine, USF to join as Adjunct Faculty to work on Nanobiotechnology, gene, drug delivery and early detection of cancer. He authored two book chapters and 22 journal papers, field 16 patents and 40 international conference presentations.
