Schedule a Visit
Thank you for choosing to visit the University of South Florida—we look forward to meeting you and introducing you to the USF family! For the most enjoyable visit and registration experience, please keep the following in mind:
- So we can provide our guests with a positive experience, tour space is limited—please have a few dates in mind before making your reservation in case your first choice is not available
- To get the most personalized attention, visit on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday when attendance tends to be lighter
- To get the best feel for USF, visit when classes are in session and students are on campus
- So we can offer a more authentic and relaxing experience, try to avoid the first week of semester classes and spring break as well as high school holidays (i.e. teacher planning days or President’s Day)
- Tampa is a tropical climate, which results in many thunderstorms and showers during certain times of the year. To minimize the possibility of encountering inclement weather, opt for the morning session during the rainy season (June – September)
- Some visit activities are unavailable during scheduled breaks or due to special campus events. University offices are closed on weekends and the university holidays
Group visit
Special Group Visits are available for groups of ten or more people. These visits are offered Mondays through Fridays at 9 AM, 12:30 PM, or 1 PM. The visits include an Information Session and Walking Campus Tour and last about two hours. Contact the Visitation Coordinator at 813-974-0859 to make arrangements for a group visit at least 45 days in advance of your visit. (Please note that, during peak visitation times, some dates may not be available.)
