Guidance Professionals Showcase … For all that you do!

We all want to help students make the college choice that will provide them with the academic and social opportunities to guide them to future success. Each student is different and colleges and universities are not “one size fits all.” For these reasons, we want to help you help your students by inviting you and a colleague* to our Guidance Professionals Showcase, an event designed to introduce you to some of the opportunities available to your students at the University of South Florida and USF St. Petersburg.
This event is designed especially for a select group of guidance professionals from Central and Northeastern Florida. Included in the Guidance Professionals Showcase:
- Round-trip bus transportation from your area to USF and USF St. Petersburg
- A Welcome Reception with USF administrators and staff
- Sessions with information about USF majors, student life, housing, admissions, and scholarship opportunities
- Opportunities to interact with current USF students
- A campus tour
- An introduction to USF St. Petersburg and a tour of the USFSP campus
- All meals
- Lodging
Please take advantage of this opportunity to visit USF and USF St. Petersburg during this all expenses paid event. If you are unable to attend, please pass along your invitation to an interested colleague from your school.

Please note that each guest (including your colleague) will need to register separately. If you are not able to bring a colleague, please register anyway and we will partner you with another GPS guest for hotel accommodations.
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation message sent to the e-mail address you listed in your reservation. That message will contain more precise information about the event. However, here is a general schedule to assist with planning (all times are approximate and may be altered as needed):

*A colleague can be another professional in the secondary education field who serves as an “influencer” to students. This includes fellow guidance professionals, as well as AP, IB, or AICE teachers, an AVID coordinator, an administrator, or a colleague at another high school. This person will need to register separately and you both must request each other as a roommate during the registration process.
